"I did not miss a single Berlin-Match-Race" - Gerda Zoske (BYC) is part of the Race Jury Team from the very beginning

She had her place on the starting boat already at the premiere of the Berlin-Match-Race in 1992. And 20 years later it is still so. A Berlin-Match-Race Jury without Gerda Zoske can simply not be imagined.

All twenty Berlin-Match-Races are on her credit side. She is a regular member of the jury crew and assists the race director in his work: define the starting line, measure the wind, give the start signal, draw flags, note results… she has everything under control. Since 1984 she is a member of the Berliner-Yacht-Club (BYC). Working with the sport organizations of the Freie Universität Berlin, she has always been familiar with the organization and realization of sporting events. Gerda Zoske was always involved, being it World-, European-, German-, and Berlin-championships. She did not miss a single Berlin-Match-Race. According to her, it should remain like this for several more years! The current race director Axel Paul and his team heard the message only too willingly.
